Teachers attend National Early Years Excellence Conference

Our staff attended the National Early Years Excellence Conference last month which ran the theme of Enabling Successful Futures. Staff listened to Professor Robert Winston talk about his research on child developing and enabling children to learn and thrive in the classroom. Professor Winston is one of the leading thinkers of our time and our staff felt incredibly privileged to listen to such a thought-provoking educationalist.

From this conference, we’ll be looking to transform our Early Years and Key Stage 1 environments and create a closer working relationship between our sister school, Cliff Lane Primary School in Ipswich.

We’re investing time and money into inspiring our teachers to be the best they can be and staff will be completing a series of training courses in the new year to improve the delivery of our curriculum for our pupils.
