Infant School takes part in memorable Remembrance Service

Today our Infant School went outside for their Remembrance service and all children had made their own poppies. Classes read out their own poems and then to the tune of Elgar’s Nimrod, put their poppies into the ground to make a field of poppies.

When the 2 minutes silence came about, we could hear the cannons being fired in Christchurch Park – it was something quite special and we’re very proud of all of the children.img_1637
